Qualifications

• Minimum: 12th with 50% marks + Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education (NTT), Early Childhood Education (D.E.C.Ed.), or 2-year Diploma in Preschool Education (DPSE), or B.Ed. (Nursery/general with ECCE training).
• Desirable: ECCE knowledge, bilingual skills (English/Hindi), experience in pre-primary teaching.
• NEP 2020 Goal: By 2030, a 4-year B.Ed. will be required; transitional diplomas (1-2 years) are currently valid.

Eligibility

• Age: 18+ (upper limit varies, often 40-50 with relaxations: +5 years SC/ST, +3 years OBC).
• Nationality: Indian citizen.
• Selection: Interview + document verification (sometimes demo class/test).
